Many of us set intentions for things that we want in our lives such as goals we want to accomplish, heartfelt wishes, desires and the like. Have you ever considered setting an intention for your dreamtime?
Why set an intention to dream? You may want more clarity about a person or are unsure how to handle a specific situation in your life. We seek guidance almost on a daily basis from our higher self but at times, are unable to tap into that guidance because we’re engaged with our daily lives. Setting an intention to receive guidance or some clarity during our dreamtime will help to open up that channel to your higher self while you’re asleep. It's a darn good feeling to wake up and know what action to take on something that you were unsettled about.
What are some ways to set an intention for your dreamtime? Write down your dream intention on a piece of paper and place it under your pillow or on your night table. Speak your intention loud and clear to the Universe before bed. I, personally, will speak it and write it down because I will not remember my verbal intention the next morning. Another way to set an intention is to get quiet for a few moments and allow yourself to visualize sprinkling or releasing your intention out into the ethers. Make it fun for yourself - maybe see yourself placing your intention inside of a balloon and the balloon carries your intention off into the atmosphere.
