Your Dream Language

Our dreams speak to us. They sure do. As visual images. Some of the images become a language that we will personally understand. You can call this dream symbolism or your very own dream language. Sometimes all it takes is just one dream to realize it.

Oftentimes your dream language will feel familiar to you. How? Your dream language can include symbols that stand out from your environment or hold cultural significance. Dream interpretation books are an excellent starting point to help you understand the dream images that appear during your dreamtime. Other ways of interpreting your dream language/symbolism is focusing on what actually resonates with you.

There’s another way of helping yourself to recognize your dream language...dream journaling. No special skills are needed for this. Just write down what you remember. That’s it! With this practice, you’re building a record of your dreamtime and are able to go back to see if, over time, any images have become your personal symbols or dream language.
